Responsibilities

Performs the primary function of a professional nurse in assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating the care of assigned clients. Is responsible for knowing and meeting the standards of practice as required by the Nurse Practice Act and accrediting agencies.

Qualifications

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING

  • Graduate from an accredited school of nursing with approved credentials from the Board of Nursing.
  • A minimum of two (2) years experience in Psychiatric Nursing Services. For Adolescent Services; a minimum of one (1) year experience working with adolescents with psychiatric needs.
  • CPR certified.
  • A valid license as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of New Jersey. Valid driver’s license.
