Schedule: Day Shift Monday-Friday

Salary: Highly dependent on years of experience, education, certifications. Range is $40-64/hr

Job Description

The Perioperative Services Educator/Program Development Coordinator is responsible for assessing, developing, planning, implementing, and evaluating educational programs for perioperative personnel to maintain competency, continuing education, and leadership development. The Perioperative Services Educator/Program Development Coordinator functions as an instructor, coordinator and clinical resource to the staff and various OR Locations in Moorestown, NJ and Voorhees, NJ.

Act as a clinical resource for perioperative personnel using evidence-based standards and professional guidelines
Assess the environment to determine educational needs of patients and perioperative personnel
Coordinates and instructs the Periop 101 Program

Requirements:

Minimum of 3 years of OR experience – 5 years preferred
1 year of teaching or educator experience
Masters Degree - MSN
Current NJ-RN License (Registered Nurse)
